【Now Open】Call for Participants: Shimane Prefecture FY2026 Digital Workforce Development Program

※ The English version follows below.

Robo Co-op has launched applications for the FY2026 Digital Workforce Development Program in partnership with Shimane Prefecture.

This 180-day program is offered free of charge to Shimane Prefecture residents facing employment barriers.

It is designed to help participants build practical AI and IT skills. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including single parents, people with foreign roots or refugee backgrounds, and those with experiences of school non-attendance or social withdrawal.

◆Program Highlights

Over the approximately three months of guided online practical training, participants will build skills in AI-powered document creation, presentation design, and workflow automation through a combination of self-paced study and live online sessions alongside their peers. This is followed by approximately three months of paid on-the-job training, where participants work on real projects to gain hands-on experience and build a professional portfolio.

All sessions are conducted online with recordings available, so participants can learn at their own pace while balancing childcare, caregiving, or other responsibilities. No specialized knowledge is required; basic computer skills are all you need.

◆Support System

To help participants stay on track, the program offers weekly team meetings, twice-weekly Q&A sessions, monthly one-on-one mentoring, and a 24/7 AI tutor. Support is also available in Easy Japanese and English for those who may need it.
