Learn AI tools (approx. 3 months), experience real work (approx. 3 months) — and steadily build skills and achievements over 180 days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can apply?

Anyone living in Shimane Prefecture is welcome to apply — regardless of age, occupation, or experience. Whether you want to get better at AI and computers, try something new, or learn at your own pace, any motivation is fine. If you're thinking "Is it really okay for me to apply?" — that's exactly who we'd love to hear from. Please feel free to apply.
Is there any cost?

Tuition is completely free. Additionally, 3 "living expense support" spots provide ¥200,000 per month for 3 months of study.
Is it okay if I'm not good with computers?

Not good with computers? No problem at all. If you can turn one on and type, that's enough. In fact, this program was made for people who haven't used computers much. Anything you don't know, we'll figure out together — so please apply with confidence.
I'm worried about finding time while raising children.

All classes are online with recordings available. You can study after the kids go to bed or in spare moments. Weekly meetings require attendance, but we're flexible with scheduling — just let us know your situation.
What if I fall behind?

That's exactly why we layer the support: twice-weekly Q&A sessions, monthly mentor check-ins, and a 24/7 AI tutor. If you still get stuck, we'll figure out together how to get back on track.
What happens after the program ends?

You'll have real work experience and a portfolio to show for it, and we'll use Robo Co-op's network to connect you with companies. We prepare together so "graduation = nothing" never happens.
I'm worried about my Japanese language skills.

We provide support in plain, accessible Japanese, and we have multilingual staff as well. Feel free to ask any questions at an info session — we're happy to help.
