On June 12–13, I participated in the Global Education Task Force event hosted by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
This was a valuable opportunity where diverse leaders driving refugee education from around the world gathered in one place, alongside UNHCR policymakers, university representatives, education accreditation bodies, government officials from various countries, NGOs, and other stakeholders from different sectors.
From Robo Co-op, our representative Mr. Kim introduced the Free & Open AI Learning Program launched on June 20 in conjunction with World Refugee Day. He shared our “Train-the-Trainer” model under the theme “Education for Refugees, by Refugees”, highlighting the importance of initiatives where refugees themselves take the lead in expanding education.
We engaged in active discussions on how to broaden the education ecosystem and build a society where everyone has fair access to learning opportunities.
The event concluded with a networking reception featuring traditional Thai cuisine and a beautiful cultural dance performance—an inspiring reminder of the richness of cross-cultural exchange ✨
We're truly looking forward to future collaborations and developments.
Through education, we will continue to aim for a fairer world where everyone can thrive!
